Hosting Options
Care Audit Tool hosting options are flexible and designed to suit all sizes of organisation.
Cloud Hosted (Shared)
The default hosting option for Care Audit Tool is cloud hosted on highly secure servers (Microsoft Azure). This solution is much faster to set up and suitable for smaller organisations. Internet access is required at all times to access the system.
Cloud Hosted (Individual)
For medium sized organisations we can install the system in the cloud but in dedicated servers. This allows much higher levels of simultaneous access whilst keeping set up and hardware costs to a minimum. This option will incur extra monthly costs for the services from the cloud provider. (we use Azure hosting services for security and reliability reasons). Again Internet access is required at all times to access the system.
Self Hosted
For larger organisations, Care Audit Tool offers a self hosting option where we can install the system internally on a dedicated server (or virtual machines). This includes all help documentation and licensing (if required) so no external access is required to run the system. This also enables domain based windows authentication for users.
